The main purpose of the Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary is to support our fire department. We do many fundraisers throughout the year including our canteen at the Cumberland County Exhibition, the Firemen's Auction Canteen, and the Sunday Night Bingo Canteen and 50-50 Draw.
We also cater to weddings and other special events, sell raffle tickets, organize and hold children's dances, annual bean and scallop suppers and other dinners throughout the year. All of these have proven to be great fundraisers for our group.
All of the auxiliary's funds go to the Oxford Fire Department to help purchase much needed protective equipment and gear.
We would like to say a heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all of our firemen, and to the citizens of Oxford and surrounding areas for their support in our fundraising efforts.
It is very gratifying for us to know we can always count on your continuing support in our future endeavors.
